Cheadle Discovery Group has collaborated with other local groups, organisations, residents and Arts Council England Creative People and Places project OUTSIDE to plan a special celebration of the life of Cheadle’s pioneering astronomer and selenographer Mary Adela Blagg in March/April 2024.
The Cheadle Moon events programme includes an exhibition display by Cheadle Discovery Group about Mary Blagg and a presentation by the group about Mary Blagg and some of our previous heritage projects including the Mary Blagg monument in Cheadle.
