Wartime Spirit and the Hope of Cheadle is the title of our WWII project that has received funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund. Additional funding has come from Outside Arts and Cheadle Town Council. Other partners in the project are FindMyPast, Cheadle and District Historical Society, Wellspring Methodist Church, Team Cheadle, Creative Cheadle and Cheadle U3A.
The project officially launched on September 18th 2025, at a meeting of the Cheadle and District Historical Society at the Wellspring Methodist Church.
